2015 Honda Crosstour

The 2015 Honda Crosstour is kind of a unicorn, blending versatile hatchback styling with go-anywhere SUV abilities and all the good stuff people buy Hondas for in the first place. The Honda Crosstour mirrors the Accord sedan in many ways, and the two share a platform as well. Buyers can choose either a four-cylinder or V6 powerplant, but the only transmission is an automatic (five-speeds with the four-cylinder, six-speeds with the V6). The base engine is a 2.4-liter I4 making 192 horsepower and getting an EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway*. The 3.5-liter V6 makes 278hp and gets 30 mpg highway* in FWD models, with those numbers falling very slightly with AWD.

Every Crosstour is packed with features, and you can outfit this sleek crossover in either EX or EX-L trim levels. The Crosstour EX has standard 17” alloy wheels, full power accessories, a rearview camera, sunroof, automatic climate control, tilt/telescoping steering, and a seven-speaker stereo with a CD player, USB/iPod integration, and auxiliary audio input. Add the V6 to the EX and get 18” wheels, proximity entry, blind-spot monitors, and an 8” infotainment display. The infotainment system includes text-to-speech, Bluetooth streaming, and Pandora internet radio. An EX-L four-cylinder loses the 18” wheels and proximity key, but adds heated leather seats, forward collision warning, lane departure monitors, and satellite radio. An EX-L with the V6 get those features and the other V6 EX features. All-wheel drive can be added only on the top-trim V6 Crosstour models. Optional on all models is a GPS navigation system.
