2015 Honda CR-V

The big changes for the 2015 Honda CR-V are under the skin, where this popular crossover has gotten a more efficient and more powerful drivetrain. All 2015 Honda CR-V models get the new direct-injected “Earth Dreams” 2.4-liter four-cylinder motor, making 185 horsepower. The new motor, combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), gives you more gas mileage and even better performance. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is an option on all trim levels. The EPA rates front-wheel drive CR-V models at 27 city/34 highway mpg*, and slightly less for AWD versions. 0-60 mph times are in the 7.5 second range, about a second faster than last year’s model.

The 2015 CR-V lineup follows the standard Honda trim breakdown with LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring models available. The CR-V LX is value priced but still comes well equipped. The EX-L takes the EX equipment and adds leather upholstery, heated mirrors, climate control, and a seven-speaker sound system with satellite radio (GPS navigation is optional). The CR-V Touring is the top model with all that equipment plus a power liftgate, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and an upgraded sound system with built-in GPS navigation.
